WIP :: Straightforward Mitts

Looking for a fabulous (and free!) pattern for a quick pair of fingerless gloves this season? I’m totally digging on these Straightforward Mitts, which I’ve been working on in the shop these past few weeks.
This pattern uses rotating decreases — paired with equal increases right at the center of the hand — to give this fun effect of diagonal stripes, which grow from the bottom to the top of the glove.
I’m working these up in a dreamy cashmere/alpaca blend, which — luxurious as it is — is totally affordable for a pair of gloves like this, which only take about 160 yards.
Right now I have both mitts finished right up to this point, and just need to add on the thumbs and weave in the ends!
